Mr Floral offers a range of luxurious home and beauty products from a diverse portfolio of brands. But beyond this top-level perspective, the team works hard to carefully curate the best collections based on the brand’s sustainability, favouring those who source natural ingredients to benefit our planet and our communities.

Our aim is to transform your sensual experience through the products we offer. Both the aroma and aesthetic of a product are of particular importance to us. This is why our specialist fragrances, inspired by nature and formed of natural, plant-derived ingredients are held in such high regard.

Mr Floral was formed in February 2020 by two brothers with a passion for perfumes and candles. To this day the business remains dedicated to building partnerships with bespoke brands to enhance user experience and deliver quality goods to our customers.

Perfume Notes

As with all perfumes, each scent comes alive different on every person. Anything that affects the “natural” smell of your skin, such as diet, pH balance, hormonal changes, or medication alter the perfume’s characteristics slightly.

Studies say that people are usually drawn to scents that work with their natural body scent. Perfume is almost like a living organism and very sensitive to environmental changes. Store your perfume in a dark and cool place like a cabinet or in the refrigerator.

Notes in perfumery are descriptors of scents that can be sensed upon the application and separated into three categories:

Top Notes
Perceived immediately upon application. Volatile, evaporate quickly.

Mid Notes
Appear 30-60 minutes after application. Often more mellow and “rounded”.

Base Notes
Usually not perceived until 30 minutes after the application or during the period of perfume dry-down. Bring depth and evaporate slowly.

Candle Care Guide

Here are tips for safely prolonging the life of your candles.

Burn Time: The first time you burn your candle, allow it to burn for a minimum of two to three hours (depending on the size of the candle) until the whole top layer of the wax becomes liquid. This will help your candle burn more evenly for future use.

Each candle we offer will specify it's approximate burning time but as a guide:

Small Candles (up to 70g)
Will burn for approximately 10-20 hours.

Standard Candles (up to 250g)
Will burn for approximately 40-60 hours.

Large/Outdoor Candles (up to 750g)
Will burn for approximately +150 hours.

Wick Trimming

Before lighting your candle, please trim the wick to 1/4-inch length. By shortening the wick you allow the flame to burn more slowly and also avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass. The wick should also be trimmed every time you relight the candle.

Realign the Wick

Avoid blowing the candle and use a candle snuffer. Once you have snuffed the candle-flame always remember to re-centre and ensure the wick is upright before the wax cools down. This will not only prolong the life of your candle but will ensure it burns evenly for future use.

Safety

Never leave a lit candle unattended. This could be a fire risk. Always place your candle on a level, heat resistant, non-flammable surface away from fabric or drapes. Choose an area free from drafts to avoid uneven burning. Do not place your candle on a marble or glass surface. If the bottom of the hot candle glass comes in contact with a cold material, the glass may crack.

Our Packaging

We strive to use sustainable, recycled, and biodegradable materials whenever possible. Our boxes, cards and giftbags are made from FSC-certified paper, which has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible manner.
